Overture Cary has excellent proximity to grocery shopping, restaurants, and medical facilities. You can be as involved as you want to be, and there are a lot of resident-led activities. The worry of taking care of our own place is gone. You don't have to take care of a roof or an air conditioner like you do with home ownership. The hallways are always clean, and we clean our apartment ourselves. They offer different sizes of apartments, priced according to size, so you get what you pay for. When you move into a place like this, keep in mind you really have to downsize. But overall it has been great, and we wish we would have done it sooner!

Since I moved in 2 1/2 years ago I've been made to feel at home. The people living here mostly are friendly and the staff has always been helpful. I've made a lot of friends!

I chose The Orchard because they were running a special at the time of 2 months rent free and since I was moving out of state that helped my move. The apartment sizes are good and they have very nice amenities. There is a full size washer and dryer in the units and all of the appliances are virtually brand new. The ceilings are about 10 feet tall which makes it feel large. The only complaint I have is there are no full sized bathtubs but I understand why. They have colored parking and also have attached and detached garages that you can purchase. There is a dog park with turf in the back. They also have valet garbage pickup. They have continental breakfast 2/3 times a week and snack at social events, it is high calorie and carb foods so they could incorporate more healthy foods. If you are in 70s and 80s, I would definitely recommend the facility.

I would advise others to definitely look at other options, because in terms of price compared to others, The Gardens of Annapolis is on the higher end in terms of rent. if you are on a fixed income, that would b something you'd need to take into consideration. in terms of convenience location, it is extremely convenient because its located directly across the street from a shopping center. I would also tell others to check the demographics of this community. I didn't realize how important that was before moving my loved one in. meeting friends and making connections can be difficult if there aren't many people who look like your loved one. making a true connection has been a challenge, and its not the communities fault - it's just difficult to form a true connection with someone that you cant relate to. I know because of HIPPA laws they cant disclose certain information and I and respect that, but I would advise others to spend time there and get a feel for what its like before moving in. we are trying to recreate a comfortable life for someone who has left a spot that they've lived at for 60+ years; that can be proven tough when its hard to make significant relationships in your new home. overall I would recommend them to others. it's a nice community with fantastic staff. the apartment unit is great for my loved one and was something they were able to adjust into. the cleanliness of the community can't be beat. there are pockets of time during the day where it is very quiet and the residents are tucked away in their rooms or elsewhere. my loved one likes to talk and mingle with people, so that has been a challenge as well. I know that my loved one likes the place, they seem to be adjusting and doing fine. I just know that one of their challenges has been the lack of true friendship and meaningful connection. The Gardens is a great place, there are just things that you should pay attention to and invest your focus into during your discovery process. I didn't notice the particular demographic or lack of diversity until after we moved my loved one in.

If you are pretty independent and you don't need nursing care and you are interested in meeting people and getting out in the community this is a good place to look. This is a good step from transitioning before having to get full on assistance from a community. This is a great option depending on your circumstances and what you are looking for in a community.

I like it here and would recommend it. If you're not happy where you're at, come here! I like the rooms, and we have tornado shelters. The hallways are wide. I have a large deck with a beautiful view of downtown. It's kept pretty clean, although the residents could clean up after their dogs better. They have lots of activities. It seems like any type of drink they serve at activities though is alcoholic, and I would like to see other options. But I definitely think it's worth the money. It's close to businesses, has sidewalks for walking, and public transportation close by, all of which was a big draw for me.

This is a good place to live. My loved one has been happy here and with all the activities offered. There is a continental breakfast served each day. Some of the activities available are breakfast, wine Wednesday, taco Tuesday, Happy Hour, movies once a week and more for the residents to choose from. The staff are good to work with if I have questions or concerns.

I chose Overture Centennial because of the location, the amenities that they provided, and the floor plans. The apartment sizes are good, the kitchen designs in terms of cabinet space were not well thought out though. The staff is just really great and the manager is very open to any suggestions you may have. They are accommodating to doing new things and doing things differently. The flexibility of the manager is unique and very special. I would recommend the facility for active seniors.

Routine maintenance and management are virtually non existent. In house maintenance staff are exceptional

On the positive side. It is a very nice facility and it is not even 2 years old. The location is great as well. Everyone is very friendly and it is very social. There are a lot of activities going on, they have an app where you sign up to do things. They have movies, happy hours, entertainment, exercise classes, etc. They provide a continental breakfast every morning where you are able to go down and dine with others. We have a 2 bedroom and it is a great size and we have a good view. On the negative side, there seems to be a lot of staff turnover. There have also been a lot of issues with the elevators. Overall we like it and will be coming back.

I liked Overture Barrett. I liked the staff better than another place that I toured. The apartments were nicer, and I liked the floorplan. The facility was newer, and the lobby was bigger. They had vegan snacks, which was a pleasant surprise. However, I didn't like that it was not accessible to public transportation. The bus only came once an hour and did not come on Sunday at all. That was a big factor for me and ultimately the reason I did not choose them.

This is a very nice place to live. I am still getting used to the staff and everyone around.

This community was great but it was just way to high for me. I was doing the tour with a friend and he ended up there.

Overture Flower Mound has such a good vibe to the place, it is definitely worth the value. There are so many activities here that I cannot keep up with all of them.

Destinations Springs Valley is a very clean and well run community, I have had a good time here so far. There are no doctors here it is strictly just independent living.

Lived here since [date removed]a good place to be during {name removed} Many things stopped because of- that I was sorry to mess because we were support to be etc. but they did a good job keeping us well.

We chose Overture Stone Oak because it is a newer facility, we just celebrated the 4 year anniversary of them opening. The staff here are extremely friendly, the lifestyle coordinator [name removed] especially. The facility is close to where I grew up and close to family and that is important to us. The apartment sizes are just fine. It has been a good experience and I would recommend to others looking.

Album Keller Ranch was just okay. It was a fairly new facility, but too expensive for me.

We toured this community and the tour was very good. They answered all of our questions and were very informative. They were very accommodating and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We did not feel rushed at all and they took their time with our family. unfortunately, the community just didn't fit the needs of our loved one.

I would encourage you to check out the community for your loved ones. It is the first hotel style apartments I have seen. This makes it feel safe for my mom. Some of the activities include movies, book clubs, gym, a grand opening of the community, and more for the residents to choose from. The have elevators available for the residents as well.
