I had recently taken a tour of this community for my mother and I have no complaints of how things had went. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions I had for them in detail. I liked how clean everything was and the layout of the building. The price was reasonable and they had a variety of packages to fit individual needs. It was just not the right location for us in the end decision.

Our tour here was really nice the staff were informative and took us all around the community they answered our questions and very friendly. We just didn;t think this would be a good fit for what my mom was looking for.

This is a nice community for a loved one. We like that they have a lot to offer. The community is clean and maintained. We liked the menu of the meals and the activities that are offered. We would suggest a tour for other families.

When I first talked to the administration about my mothers care level needs and after they assured me that they will able to handle it during our next communication it turns out that they didn't provide what my mother was in of. I didn't really feel that either side supported each other as feeling like one community there was a noticeable difference in the atmosphere from the independent living side to the assisted living side. On the assisted living side it had more of a nursing home type feel to it and on the independent living side, there was more of an open free feeling nothing just seemed to match up. It was like visiting 2 separate places

Atria Park of Glen Ellyn is a beautiful and inviting community. It is a very clean and well-kept. They could use more staff on hand but they try very hard with the staff they have. The staff is friendly caring and it really showed when they evaluated the situation of why my friend was falling and came up with a solution to help prevent it from happening in the future. The food could definitely use improvement, I have dined there with my friend and it seemed that the added ingredient was too much salt. The staff encourages the residents to participate in the individualized activities that meet their needs at their stage of life. I would definitely recommend Atria Park to friends and family.

The monthly program/events should be available online The menu should be healthier. Cakes cookies and donuts are everywhere. For example my mom had two ice cream sandwiches for Desert one night when I was visiting. More exercise should be available The staff is very friendly and helpful The facility has a strong odor. A fresher smell would be better I was told my bill would be emailed to me. It was not.

This is an older community and the room we saw was small. The room had a kitchen with a granite bar to eat at. The air conditioning unit in the room stuck out from the wall. The pricing was comparable. The dining room was not very nice and it seemed to be in the lobby. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. This community would not have worked for us.

The tour was really good, seeing a nice community and the atmosphere. My intake to what was being told to me, was not the same as what I was seeing in the Memory Care.They didn't do a lot with the residents. I saw some sitting in front of the television. Not much activities or stimulation. They were professional.

Before deciding to keep my parents at home we did tour this community.The staff there was friendly and we liked the look at the community it appeared clean. However, after touring the community we had setup an evaluation for them to come and evaluate mom which was done but they never called us back for 2 months so in my opinion there office staff could use improvement for follow up work.

I had a talk with the community about their pricing and they turned out to be very expensive. I didn't go into the community after hearing the price. There was no need to put more time touring and I was glad to get the price upfront.

I lived here for over a year and it is a nice place to live. The regular staffing is friendly and kind and very accommodating, however, there is too much of a turnover of management. You never knew from day to day who was going to be in charge and that left me feeling a little unsettled. The reason why I had left there was they had raised the price so it put them out of my budget range. The food was good while I was there and they offered a lot of activities and social events to participate in.

I was looking into a community for my sibling, who just needed some supervision. I was told a good deal but it was not enough for the budget of my sibling.

Older units. Older decor. My mom saw a dead cockroach in a shower in one of the apartments we toured. Liked the grounds, location, and staff.

This facility had no 2 bedrooms with 2 baths. All apartments had only 1 bath. Had Laundry Rooms - not machine in apartments,

Overall my father is doing well here at this community.There is room for improvement with the staff. It is is nice looking community. They do a good job with the cleanliness. There are activities offered. The meals are very good. I would recommend this community with some reservations.

A nice facility in an older established community. They are renovating each apartment as they become available. It has nicely manicured grounds but requires residents to walk outside to get to the main area for meals and activities. A plus on nice days and minus on cold or rainy days. The facility is dated and the apartments are on the small side.

My tour of this facility went well. Everyone was very friendly. The community was clean, and everything appeared well-kept. The staff I met was kind, and friendly. It was a pleasant experience. Everything went well, it was a good tour.

This community started off being good, but now it just became not adequate to take care of my moms needs. The community is fine and it is clean and they always have things going on to help the residents stay active.

I toured this Atria community, and was impressed with the condition, beauty, and variety on the large assisted living floors, but the memory care unit was much less pleasant, and did not smell clean. The shared living room and the activity room there were very drab, and the outdoor space was not appealing at all. There are only 16 residents in the unit, and very few folks were participating in the activity when I toured. The rooms are larger than most, but many people with dementia do not need a kitchen space or walk-in closet to provide additional confusion. A more pleasant color scheme, and attention to decor in all of the communal areas would improve the surroundings. I recommend to families that they tour the facility before making a decision for a loved one's care.

This is a lovely community, and my tour was very pleasant. From what I saw the community looked clean, and well-kept. The staff was friendly and kind - both to me and among the residents. There were many factors that played into our family's decision for moving our mother. While the facility has much to offer, it wasn't our perfect fit.
