Provision Living

I would definitely recommend Oak Pointe! They tend to have the same challenge as all of these facilities; staying fully staffed! But with the exception of one person, who is no longer there, we felt like the staff genuinely cared for our mother. The night we lost mom, in August of 2023, we had many staff members who were not even on duty, stay with us to provide comfort to our family. The facility also provided a bus for residents and staff who wanted to attend mom's visitation; even though it was an hour away! We felt very fortunate that we found Oak Pointe for mom. It is expensive to live there, but mother had a Long Term Care policy that helped offset the

I would say overall good. I picked this place because it was newer and a nice setting, convenient for medical appointments and close to family.

Mom has now been in the assisted living facility for 6 + months. Was quite an adjustment for not only her but for family members also. We are pleased with all the care she has received: clean environment; friendly staff and good variety of activities that are available which helps break up long days. I can sleep better at night.So glad she is in a such loving caring place. Thanks to all . It takes a village to care for our elderly loved ones.

The staff at Oak Pointe of Rolla are very caring. I feel like I don't have to worry too much that my dad's needs are being met. Overall, we are pretty happy with everything. On the weekends and evenings it is difficult to get ahold of staff to assist my dad and then I don't get a follow up call. However, [name removed] has gone above and beyond for me to make sure that I can reach someone for assistance and then get an update. I would recommend Oak Pointe of Rolla to others.

They are attentive and friendly staff, clean environment, and it's a very caring community.I am very satisfied with the care and environment. We picked this community, because they had a two bedroom availaible, cleanliness, and staff to patient ratio.

Giving overall experience a 4 only because I'm giving quality of care and value for cost 4's. Quality of care - Have noticed my mom wears the same clothes several days in a row and was told by a relative that she smelled on one occasion. Not sure if it's the staffs duty to see that she's bathing and washing her clothes but for what we are paying, I think they should do that. Value for cost - giving it a 4 only because it is very expensive. I'm sure my mom will run out of money before she passes away. Because they don't accept Medicare, she will have to be moved to a different facility when that time comes which is very unfortunate. The only other thing I would say is there seems to be a small lack of communication. I was under the impression that Oak Pointe would be giving my mom both her injections. The nurse told me she hadn't signed up to give one of them. I "think" she is planning on giving it now. Other than that, my mom seems to like it there which makes us happy.

Our family had an in person tour with Oak Pointe of Neosho and it was a beautiful place. The lunch that they provided for us was wonderful. The people there were very friendly and the facility was very clean and very inviting.

So far I am not unhappy with the experience with the community. The staff are good to work with if the family has questions or concerns about our loved one. There are three meals a day served to the residents and there are options to choose from. Some of the activities, include shopping, meals out in the community, entertainment, and more for the residents to engage with. Provision Living has ways to monitor the residents in their room and this is very innovative to create a baseline activity reading. The residents are allowed to have pets as long as the residents are able to care for their pets.

Overall the experience has been good for us. The staff communication with the family has been very good when we have questions or concerns. The community is understaffed, like a lot of places are currently. The food has been very good for my loved one. There are three meals a day served to the residents, and they have choices to choose from.

Don't take anything unless you don't mind if it gets lost. Things tend to disappear. They don't have enough staff. I don't think the activities are that great. They say they take the residents to participate, but very rarely do I see my loved one participating. I think that ties back to understaffing. I think it's overpriced. You pay because it's pretty, but they don't do a whole lot for the money. It's not a terrible place. It's probably better than a lot of them. It's just overpriced.

The staff is very good to the people who live there. The facility is clean. They are constantly doing activities - bingo, pedal bikes outside, they had horse wagon rides one day. They load them up in the bus and take them around town for a ride. They have movie days. They celebrate the holidays. They're constantly doing something. Overall I think it's a good choice.

This is a good place to live. There is a shortage of staff currently; however, this is everywhere. The communication with the staff is good if I have questions. The food is okay most of the time for my friend.

The cleanliness of Provisions is a big plus, that really stood out to us. Also another thing that stood out to us was the friendliness of the people our loved one has have been able to meet and see everyday. The environment is very nice and welcoming. They are getting more and more activities so that is improving.

Provision Living is a new community, so people are moving in little by little, and they've had some growing pains as they handle the challenge of adjusting staffing levels as new residents move in. Nothing negative - that's just part of a new and growing community. But all in all, from what I can tell, they really care about the residents there. They really try their best to keep them included and active. They have a great therapy staff there that has done some really great work with my loved one personally. They go out of their way, are very caring, and are very good with all of the residents. When they first opened, the food was really good. They've had some changes in the cooks since then. Most of the time the food is still very good, but the biggest complaint is not having enough soft food that can be chewed more easily, which is very important for residents of a more advanced age. It seems like a really good community, and in terms of people with different levels of health and ability, they do their best to keep everybody included, which I think is really important. I typically email the staff with any questions or concerns, and I usually receive an email or phone call right back. Sometimes they pick up the phone and call me first, of their own accord. Another thing that's important to know, with all of the restrictions easing up, is they're opening up more and more. We're now seeing the music and activities again that really make the residents happy. I like that there's a real community feel there, were you can develop close relationships with others.

It was good, other than the pandemic. The staff was fine to work with.

My dad was in a home in Joplin when we found out that he would need help with memory care so we were recommended to come here. So far it’s been wonderful. The only issue I’ve had is the communication between me and the staff has been difficult. I requested that my father have no visitors other than myself and that has yet to happen. There were some issues with cleaning but that’s since been remedied. The staff is doing what they can to help, answering any questions they can, but I still feel like my dad is lacking the care he needs. The food is good and there’s plenty of it each day, it seems pretty nutritious as well. The cleaning staff keeps things tidy and clean and they really work with my dad to make sure they get his room taken care of; it just gets difficult on the weekends when they aren’t’ available. There are a lot of activities to keep everyone busy like Walmart outings, going to the museum and the YMCA. They even took my dad to a local elementary school where he got to read to third graders. All of the residents are very interactive with each other, which is nice because otherwise my dad would isolate himself. I think overall, the price paid is very fair for the things they offer. I’ve already recommended this place to several people. I think if the parts that I’ve been having issues with are able to be taken care of, this place would be a 5.

During my tour of the Oak Pointe of Monett, I noticed that all of the staff I came in contact with were very nice. I don't have any complaints about the place, but we ended up choosing another community. The place was very nice, though, and the tour guide was very helpful.

Things have been a little challenging since dad moved into this community. The administration is working to improve the staffing concern. The food appears to be good. The community appears to be clean. The staff are professional and doing their best to take care of dad. They encourage him to participate in the daily activities. I would recommend this community.

The community is very open, friendly, and welcoming it is not depressing in the least. It is very clean but just with the time we are in with covid some of our expectation's are not being met and sometimes they have trouble keeping up communication with families.
