lovely facility, friendly staff, many amenities. cost is on high side if you want more than basic items

I spent several days researching and visiting "active adult" living spaces for my mom. Overture Highlands was by far the newest and most attractive for the younger "aging" person. I was greeted by [name removed], who was kind enough to show me several apartments that were available. He was extremely patient with my mom as she made the decision on the space she preferred. While she was apprehensive at first, being new to the state and not knowing anyone in the community, she has developed friendships over the past two months that I know she treasures. Overture offers several opportunities for the residents to connect with each other as well as the staff. They host several community events, mostly in the evening, as many of their apartment dwellers are still working. I can truly say that my mind is at ease with my mom being at Overture Highlands and I would highly recommend anyone to visit them before making a decision on where a family member would feel most comfortable. Please note that these apartments are for the "active" aging person. Total independence is expected. Hope this helps!

Very unique living place. Folks here are very busy with activities. Totally motivated staff, friendly enthusiastic, easy on the eyes. I couldn't be more pleased with these living arrangements. I wished I'd heard about it sooner. Thanks to you "A Place for Mom" for the referral. Y'all ROCK!

Having had the opportunity to tour the under construction building to see my apartment, I know I've made the right decision for this stage of my life. The quality presented in the apartment model has been met - and often exceeded - in the final product. Care for small details is apparent and will make the initial move-in easier than expected, with fewer tasks requiring my immediate attention. The leasing staff have been exceptional, answering questions and following up promptly, when necessary. They are genuinely concerned with a positive experience and a good transition to a different lifestyle. Resources have been made available to assist with everything from down-sizing to establishing a comfortable new home. In addition, each month, new activities have been offered to get to know others who are considering - or will be - moving in. Input on upcoming activities has been requested, making me feel that my voice in the new community is important. I can't wait to move in and truly experience the Marvelle!

Friends and family say that I look so much happier now that I live in Destinations. Same is true of my cat, Alice, by the way! The staff really cares about the residents and their concerns.

Love, love, LOVE the management here! They are a pleasure to interact with and seem to enjoy their job! Need more staff!

The Resident Manager and her assistant are both wonderful. They know everyone well and are very caring for our well being. They try to handle problems quickly, but are stymied by Greystar Management always seeking the cheapest contractors. This means they have little authority concerning repairs, and that is a shame because it means that repairs are slow in being completed. The weekday breakfasts are much appreciated and a great way to get to know neighbors. Residents are very friendly and there are lots of activities daily. I have been here for three months now and am very happy with my decision to move here.

Amazing community! They have everything! A theater, instructors that lead exercise, heated pool, 2 happy hour events a week with lots of food. I read some of the reviews that said the closets were small but I disagree. They are bigger than 3 other communities we visited. [name removed] did our tour and she was so genuine and caring, not pushy. We will move there when we are ready!

Beautiful facility

This senior apartment complex is very comfortable for my widowed father. It is much larger and more comfortable than he expected. The social aspect of the community has helped him engage with others and even though it is not assisted or independent living, the amenities are amazing.

I am 67 and lost my husband a long time ago. Socializing is something that I have struggled with since "dating" is not my interest. This is a really nice place to be around people without any pressure. It is also a really nice place to stay in my home and not be bothered! The apartments are beautiful and I just live now. I don't have to worry about grass, cleaning gutters, trees falling and rising property taxes. There have been some staff changes which people like to mention online. But none of the staff have ever been unkind or unprofessional. So I am not sure what that matters. The little girl running the place now is working hard for us every day. Most of us really appreciate the effort that we see. We are supposed to have Continental Breakfast but she really is giving us more than that now. Everything is already cooked and tasty. It just needs heated which is fine because we are capable adults. Besides it feels kinda like family with everyone heating their food and working together in the mornings. Before, people got their "quick food," ate and disappeared. I will say that this is not the cheapest show in town but there is real value. At my age I have found that you usually get what you pay for. I could stay a Bargain Motel when I travel because it is cheap but I don't. So why would I pick the cheapest home?

The BEST of everything

Great community and staff, beautiful gardens, including a community garden, very nice dog park, and many varied activities and social events.

We love living at Larkspur At Twin Creeks! Would have moved sooner had we known about this place. It is a big adjustment from owning own home and moving to apartment. We found the perfect place for this adjustment.

The staff here is extraordinarily kind, helpful, responsive and just plain awesome to the tenants. Their attention to detail and patient demeanor is remarkable. Lot’s of great activities including wine down Wednesday’s, weekly lunch and learn’s, exercise classes and field trips are fun. It is well located in Cotswold, a safe and thriving community. I highly recommend Overture Cotswold for anyone 55 and older!

I have toured here and was quite impressed with the facility and with [name removed]. It is high on my possible list.
