Our loved one is not overall thrilled about the meals we aren't sure if its the quality but our loved one says the food just does not taste good. They do seem to be very satisfied with the activities they have going on. Based on our experience so far we would recommend the Holiday Maplewood Place to other families.

I had a really great tour experience at Atria Kinghaven. I really loved all of the staff here. There were 2 main reason we did not choose this facility. The first one was because they do not have a front desk person there 24/7. So if my dad needed something, he would have had to leave the room to find someone. Also that means we would have longer wait times to be buzzed into the facility. The second reason was because they do not offer memory care here. I don't think that my dad will need that, but just in case he did I did not want to have to move him again. Other than that it looked like a great facility.

Atria Hertlin Place is a beautiful facility and very nice. I really like the green scapes. It is difficult for my mother to be here because I am not able to get medical aids and she needs more help. They did just increase the rent 20% which was pretty shocking. I felt that they were very good with the family and super hospitable. I was able to stay with her in her apartment when I came to visit. They did just add something called Atria Home Care and they are working out the kinks with that. It looks clean in the main areas but they do not have enough staff to keep up with the weekly room cleanings. They hired outside cleaning services to come in so they are definitely trying, it just does not happen on a regular basis. The maintenance department has been great. Good with maintenance. It is a very good place for independent living.

One of the good things about Atria Grass Valley is just how attentive and accommodating the staff members are to the special needs of the residents. Based on our experience so far we would recommend this community to other families.

We chose Atria Plainview because I just liked the overall feel and look of the facility over others that we had looked at. They offered a lot of good services such as having a van to take them to church, doctors appointments, etc. Aside from really just liking the place, the location is perfect. It is central to everyone in the family. The only real issue with have with the facility is the food. My mom complains about it and said the other residents feel the same way. The rates have just increased over $1000 and they are saying it is due to inflation. Overall we have been pleased and would recommend them to others looking.

Overall, I was very happy with the place and wish my mom could have stayed there longer.

I toured this facility and liked it. It was very clean and staff was friendly. Higher priced than some of the others we looked at. For my loved one, her living area was too far from the dining. It's a pretty large campus. Not the best fit for our needs.

I am a resident of Atria West 86th and has been living in the community for a year and a half. I transferred to this community from a short-term rehab facility. Since living here, my experiences has been great despite my physical decline. The staff are very helpful and caring. I appreciate the support that I receive daily. I've acclimated to the routine and call this place my home.

I am a resident of Atria West 86th and have been living in this community for 8 months now. I made the right choice to move here from London to be near my family. I consider myself very social and made many friends here. I like the in-house activities particularly the entertainments. I find myself busy which keeps me active. Overall, I am happy here.

I am a new resident and has been living at Atria West 86th for 2 weeks now. So far, the staff are incredibly sweet and attentive. I am impress with my apartment and most importantly the care that I receive. There are plenty of activities to do in-house as well as outings. My schedule has been busy in a great positive way. Overall, I could see myself living in this community for as long as possible.

I toured Atria Park of Glen Ellyn and it was very good. I liked them and we would have probably gone there, but when they came in to evaluate her they said they wouldn't be able to handle her. She was too advanced for their level of care.

I toured Atria Briarcliff Manor and they were good, the girl did a nice job. It was just a difference in the residents at the community we chose. As I was walking through [community name removed], the residents stopped us in the hall to say, "Hi, are you coming here? We love it here." I did not get that at Atria. That, along with [name removed], who was the outstanding director we spoke with at the beginning from the other community, there was no hesitation. I knew this is where we needed to be, as opposed to Atria. When you're paying this amount of money, they're all beautiful. Atria was beautiful and it was clean, the girl was nice - but it's the people who made the difference. The girl who took me around here was wonderful. We chose another community because it was a step up, not as far as looks, it was just the people!

It was a further distance, more expensive, the rooms were very different, and smaller.

I toured this facility and it was nice! We were looking for a memory care only facility, so it didn't work for our needs. But seemed like a great place!

I have visited several independent senior living establishments. This is best because it is primarily independent living with many useful and stimulating programs.

What we really like about Atria Crossroads Place is the size of the community and just the feeling you get right when you walk in - it is very inviting and just has that homey feeling to it. Right now the activities are just okay, but they just hired on a new activities director so hopefully they get better. Based on the experience so far we would recommend this community to other families.

What we really like about the Atria Tamalpais community are the staff, they are so friendly and competent and the grounds are very pretty.

This was a nice community. The layout of the one bedroom wasn't as large for a resident with a walker, and this was a concern for me.

Atria Kinghaven was a very lovely and beautiful place while we visited on tour. Everything was kept clean and fresh. Everyone was very helpful, kind and outgoing seemed to really care. Biggest concern was cost over the others on our list.

They sell it as a extravagant cruise ship and it has not been on that level yet. The price they gave us was only good for the end of the year not 12 months. They have been promising that the pool would be working before my loved one moved in but has not been fixed and it's been about 6 months. They need more staff and more activities. The food has been up and down as far as quality and sometimes the food is bland. Sometimes the chicken is not cooked all the way so now my love done is afraid to get chicken. Sometimes it takes the staff a little long to get to some things or they will leave things inside of the unit too long.
