Residences at University Heights

This may not be the place for everyone, but it’s the place for me. I’m kind of introverted, so I wouldn’t like a place that is always in your face with activities. There’s things that you are encouraged to do, but they aren’t pushed. The people are friendly and helpful, both staff and residents, if are, too. The meals are tasty and you get enough, but I’m a borderline vegetarian so there’s not enough fruits and vegetables for my taste and I don’t always eat all the meat. Cost/value question is that it is good for the places I looked at, much better than one of them. Care services are available but other than meals, cleaning, laundry, they help you find what you need at reasonable rates. Residences fits me just fine.

I am one of the first to occupy this new residence. I have had all my needs met and expectations exceeded. The manager “[name removed] ” has done an exceptional job/service. Anytime I need assistance she is always happy to help. She has taken me to the store if I needed anything or just to let me ride along. She has not only done this for me but others as well. She has hired a new cook. The more residents that come in the staff will grow. In the meantime I can give you my word, as a retired service member, that I am happy I made the choice to live here. [name removed] is the maintenance person and night time security. He is very personable and easy to get along with. He installed my curtain rod the day I moved in. And is getting this done as needed. He’s working 2 jobs so. It’ll improve.
