Everyone is super friendly, place always clean, and care given great. Better than her previous place in our opinion. I would recommend Monarch Meadows to others.

They try to provide as good as care as possible. No where is a perfect place. No one is neglected. If you want 1 to 1 care your not looking in the right place. You should hire a personal care assistant just for your loved one. We picked this community because it is clean, friendly, and offers home cooked meals.

While visiting, I asked to borrow a pen to write down my relatives’ friends’ tel nbrs. They refused, saying not enough phones for residents to make calls. I said he had the right to make calls, & that he had an iPhone but [name removed] had taken it from his remote mountain cabin before he fell. (He’d wound up on his cabin floor 2 days before being found, 2 days during which I’d been trying to call him. I eventually tracked it at 2 am stopping at a Smalley home. Took screenshot. [name removed] still denied having it. Weeks later she admitted it.) Monarch Meadows mgmt said refused to allow anything bad to be said about [name removed] & forced me to leave. Said not to return. [name removed] called - said real reason forced to leave is my relative didn’t want to see me. Months later, staff member who I’d asked to deliver card to him invited me in, said sure he wouldn’t mind. I asked him if OK & he said yes. Told him he had right to refuse visitors & he said it was ok. Then staff said mgmt said I must leave.

The owner is a complete liar and a horrible business owner. The staff stole from my father in law including a gold wedding ring that he never took off but due to his diagnosis of dementia he was unaware. There were multiple rooms with report of bed bugs.
