1. Fair because Midtown is in transition since it reopened in February. 2. Excellent- common areas are very clean, however they do not have a friendliness housekeeper dedicated to cleaning the individual rooms on a given schedule. My room has not been swept or mopped. I do it when I can. 3. Friendliness- excellent 4. Quality of Care-good but for some residents, it could better. They are not trained to give specific care for paralysis, nonverbal, memory care activities, etc. Food is simple not good for diabetics, 5. Administrative staff- [name removed] is great, doing the best she can as a manager. Med techs and procedures seem to meet distribution of meds on schedule. 6. Food-they don't give any options. One day they served potato soup and potato salad with a roll. Where is the protein? 7. Activities-manicure, bouncing ball, bingo, simple Uno; everyone is locked in (except for me). 8. Value for the money-4. They want more residents. They have a second building being prepared to open and house the memory care folks. So we all are housed in one building. Overall. 3.5. I'm making it work for me. I speak up, can train personnel on how to care for an ALS resident who is getting weaker, and encouraging more staffing. Brightwater became too expensive for my budget. That's why I had to find a cheaper place. Midtown Villa is less expensive. There is the option of sharing a room. I don't, and can't because I require specialized equipment. They need two cooks.

We were given a tour by an employee. The Fire Dept made them shut down the 2nd floor, due to staff shortage. They were preparing to send a few residents back upstairs. The supervisor was away (an emergency), so we were given a phone number to call her for pricing. The place was like a ghost town. It is within walking distance to a park and shopping area, but that was about all it had going for it.

This community was actually closed down by the state after our loved on was only here about a month. From what we were told they were licensed for 10 residents but actually had 20. This was not there first offense and so they ended up getting closed down. The actual hands on staff were good and the actual manager was fabulous. The state gave the residents 2 days to move out of the community. They also never gave us a refund of our payments.
