Five for all of them! The local area? The climate it sure beats the valley climate. Everything is close by and convenient and I like trees.

The house manager, [name removed] is a joy to be around. I liked her from the first time I met her. She truly cares about the residents and she truly seems to want what is best for them. The house always smells clean and inviting, which is quite rare compared to other group homes I've visited. Most of the homes or assisted living places always seem to have an unpleasant smell, or a smell like perfumey aerosols to mask other odors. This house does not ever smell like that. And I've not always "announced" when I will go visit my brother there, so I know they are diligent in keeping the home clean.

I do love the people in charge. Two things that could improve is the menu And the brain stimulation. Not having the elevator music playing on the TV. And one more... not sitting at the dining table from breakfast till bedtime. There is a living area where they should be to relax and watch television. There is a TV in the bedroom but, went to turn it on and there's no batteries in the remote. Think maybe it's just for looks... they need fresh veggies and fresh fruit everyday w nutritious meals.
