Carillon Oaks

Everyone has been incredible. My dad is happy living there. I will recommend to others.

Carillon Oaks is a wonderful place for senior living. The layout of the building and environment is not like that of a typical assisted living, so it doesn't have that "feel". The staff is attentive and genuinely love the residents.

One big issue we had with many other memory care facilities is that most of the residents appeared pretty stagnant. The reason that was an issue is that our mom is the opposite of stagnant. The only thing against her right now is her dementia and our inability to keep her safe and healthy because of it. So this was a huge selling point. Not far behind that is the fact that the staff are so incredibly kind and welcoming. They have kept us in the know on everything!! Dementia is challenging enough on its own for everyone involved. Everyone at Carillon Oaks went above and beyond helping alleviate any concerns we may have had in the beginning.

Overall we've had a great experience with Carillon Oaks, from everyone at the front desk to the nurses. Everyone has been very attentive to answer questions or concerns and they have also been very prompt with their replies. The facility is very clean and the staff are all very friendly. My brother (the resident there) has enjoyed the activities and the outings they've had. It is all very well organized and they seem to have the residents' best interest as priority. I cannot speak to the food quality as I have not eaten there but my brother has enjoyed the meals.

I like so much of what I have seen at Carrillon. I have observed the staff interacting with the residents. I believe they all genuinely care about the women they care for. I was impressed how every morning they dress the women for the day and offer a variety of activities for them. I also have to mention every time I visit the whole place is filled with the smell of the cooks making the meals for the day and it always smells so good.

My mother has adopted well at Carillon Oaks. The staff have been wonderful and kind to my mother. It has been a positive experience for me and my mother. The residents enjoy the interaction with each other and weekly outings. The facility is very nice and extremely clean.

We toured with Carillon Oaks Heflin and it is a very pretty facility. It had huge windows, but they were too high to enjoy the view provided.

overall experience as there have been some glitches along the way. cleanliness of the facility. so far in friendliness. no judgement on quality of care. Too new into the facility for me to rate on an honest opinion Admin staff ([name removed]). never tried their food. Mother says it is No Good; but then she has dementia. -I know they do activities, but have not seen a schedule. value for the money. It is one of the most aesthetically pleasing facilities we have seen. I am sure their activities and food are on par as well; I just have not personally experienced any of them.

I was able to have an in person tour and it was an excellent tour, but it was so brand new that they did not have any residents. They just hired on a new director, and they took us around the entire facility which was really nice. The memory care is separate from assisted living, and we met with the administrator over the memory care unit and it had just been newly built so it was very nice. However, since there were no residents there we decided to go with another community, but Carillon Oaks looked like they were ready to be top notch.
