Eighteen years in business and physically looks very good. There are plans to add more apartments and speciality common areas, e.g. a movie theatre in the next several years. Its stated strengths are its food (dining open from 7am to 7pm with a menu of 30 items), quality of nursing care (10 minute response time to resident calls, an exceptional executive nurse), and program quality. Property not large but well groomed with a circular paved footpath.

Residents seemed really happy and engaged. I liked the energy in this place. Walkable to Great Neck LIRR station, which is key for our family.

This location has all the amenities and factors were are looking for. The price point is higher than what were looking for but were not discarding it for now. [Name removed] is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions above and beyond. A wonderful place.

Really liked the facility, rooms were bright and nicely proportioned, many activities, residents seem engaged and like the staff and accomodations.

This was a large place with 250 rooms. A showed a little age but the rooms were nice. the tour guide was very helpful and informative. People there were cheery and conversational. I would pick this place as possible if [removed] has no vacancies when we need it.

Very nice and friendly. Clean no odors. Seemed isolated logisticaly from everything around. Several floors, concerned she may get lost

Very nice community. Seemed to have many activities. small rooms but bedrooms are made for sleep lol. Staff were very nice. menu looked great. Reasonable prices even with elevated care. Mom will visit in near future.

[Name removed] wonderful! Not only did she give us information and the tour, but included veteran benefits. She understood and verbalized very well her understanding of my dad's situation right away. She is a professional who is knowledgeable about the facility. I appreciated that. I also appreciate the offer of a stay over for my dad. I found the facility to be well maintained, quiet, and aesthetic. It has the amenities that would fit comfortably with my dad's current independent lifestyle. Greatwood is also is close to shopping and health facilities that my dad would be able to utilize. Distance and traffic (Hwy 6 and Hwy 59) to the facility from my house are my concerns currently. However, I will see what dad thinks about it.

People are very friendly. Amenities are excellent. Apartments are spacious. Everything is newly renovated. High rise building. Very large. Not sure it’s a good fit for my family member.

One of the favorite p,aces I have visited. Loved the fact that it was o ce an old home. Felt very relaxed inside. Residents appeared to be envied in activities during my visit. My mom is a gardener and would love the outside and surrounding property. Will definitely keep it on my list.

We kept our appointment with [name removed]. They have the apartment that we are looking for however it is not at this time. This was the coolest reception we have experienced. I am not sure we would be as welcome here as in any of the other places we visited.

Friendly staffs and the the property was small which appealed to my Mom. The Studio room was more than adequate for Mom's needs. Very low community fee.

Welcoming entrance in lobby; light colored walls all over building; sales person, [name removed], was very pleasant and informative. We met and spoke with 2 floor "ambassadors" who presented a most satisfied and pleasant view of their perceptions at Atria. We met the chef, [name removed], and spoke with him at length. Our lunch there was one of the best we've had. We liked the smaller "bay" areas of the dining area and are pleased to know that a private dining room is also available for guests. The OT/PT arrangement includes an on-site therapeutic pool. This is most important to us, in particular. Site is gated and lies on 20 acres. Large outdoor areas and walking paths. Balconies available with most floor plans. Ability to have a small raised garden on the balcony, also important. Regular varied activities and exercise classes available. Full kitchen a plus; also individual apt. stackable washer/dryer a great perk. Grayed beige walls will go well with any color decor. Assisted living and memory care all within one building with Independent Living; a plus for us. Some activities are shared between Ind. and Assisted Living. Overall comfort level with all options seem to fit us the best of all locations we have visited. Price for a 2BR apartment is comparable with others we have seen. Second person fee is $800. We have found that incentives are usually presented.

My dad lived here and was well taken care of by the staff. Very caring and compassionate.

Great setting. Beautiful and peaceful green outdoor space. Good unit layouts. But Lake Ronkonkoma in middle of nowhere Long Island - just ugly strip malls and big box stores near. No sense of place.

Very impressed with the high energy of the residents and the activities. Seems to be a high level of engagement with residents. $3175 for 1 bedroom if sign lease by 4/30. Third month free. apartment was great size. initial fee of @$3200. annual increase could be 4-7%

Mission Hills has the best individual rooms for sure. They are spacious, laid out well, and welcoming. The grounds are very nice and it is clean and well maintained. The average age of the residents at Mission Hills is a bit older than we want. Also, we were not sold on the dining room options, so while Mission Hills made it to our final two, we decided on another community.

Liked the staff very much. Not bright enough for my mom.

Nice restaurant style dining. 1bdrm I looked at feels small but had a beautiful view. Lg studio was nice with lg handicap accessible shower. Patio felt small and had no view. Residents and staff knew each other. Residents appeared to be happy and interacted with the staff. Nice location. Across street from the senior center. Pool area was clean and accessible. Lots of exercise opportunities.
