Everything here was awesome! They were really good about introducing my loved one to other residents to get him socially and make sure he had some other people looking out for him. They really went out of their way to be helpful! Unfortunately my loved one didn't get to stay long before moving out due to illness, but if he recovers enough to qualify we're definitely going to bring him back here!

I am very pleased with Atria so far! What really stood out to me was the combination of the friendliness of the staff and the facility itself. It offered exactly what we were looking for, as far as features, and the price was within our range as well! Overall, very pleased!

My mom was living at another assisted living setting for 4 months. We came to realize that it was not the right place for her. The last 2 weeks we began to worry for her safety, we knew that we had to find a new place for her to live quickly. She needed memory care. We visited Atria on a Wednesday and 5 days later she moved in. They could not have been more accommodating, they did all they could to help. Mom has been there for 1 week and she is happy and we know she is safe. So far everything is great.

They have been very good. The food is a little bland, about a 4. There aren't really any complaints or things that could be done better. They are friendly, and a very good value, that's why we chose them.

I've been very pleased with the service here so far, my loved one really seems to be comfortable here. Any time I visit it also just makes me feel at ease knowing I chose somewhere where he will be safe and well cared for. This place is very nice, I'm not old enough yet, but I'd live here without a second thought!

Atria was awesome – newly remodeled throughout, excellent staff ( not only the office staff but maintenance,food service,and housekeeping), and had great rooms. We lucked out and did not have to go on a reserve list – one resident was leaving the deluxe 1 bedroom 2 days after Mom’s walk through. They offered us the ground floor unit at a prorated rate for the end of the month and because the previous resident was so long term, they totally redid the inside if the apartment – top to bottom – as well as put in a tub instead of the current shower per my Mom’s request…AT NO EXTRA COST!! The facility/community rep is the best and answered all of our questions and helped during the move in by staying on top of everything. The whole facility is bright, cheerful, and open spaced feeling with nice grounds/walking/sitting areas outside. We are all happy and pleased and although it might seem out of place for Mom as compared to her home, she seems to be really enjoying the transition. Anyway – we all want to THANK YOU again for all of your help in making this tough decision so pleasant for us. You are the best ! Steve and Lisa

Our loved one hasn't been here long, but so far we've been very pleased with the service. It's a very nice looking facility, and the staff we've worked with have all been very friendly and professional.

We are so happy with Atria! We had a bit of a rough start, just because things happen, but they are working with us and accomodating to our needs. The whole place is wonderful and the value is great! Practically speaking, our loved one could afford this place. We also looked at some other options, and they were not what we were looking for at all. This place is friendly and warm and the environment is clean. We feel comfortable with our loved one here!

I think they are very good! We are very satisfied with having my loved one here! The location was close and convenient, but we really just liked everything that we saw! The food is good also. They have lots of choices, and if you don't want to eat the featured item for that meal, you can order other options as well.

We are really thrilled with this choice! My mom has really adjusted well here! For being independent for so long, it was difficult, but she's doing so well! This is a wonderful place! It's a very social environment, and great for someone who enjoys being around other people! My mom's biggest complaint is that she is exhausted because she's doing so much here! They have lots of activities and ways to keep the residents busy and entertained! It's terrific! The food is also very good! There's a variety of choices, and we've eaten here a number of times. No criticism at all! We could not be happier!!

Having no experience in this area, the process and transition has been emotionally difficult and physically exhausting. And I'm only the adult child, not the resident. I'm sure this is true for all of the facilities, but there is a big push to secure the room, sign the month to month lease, get the deposit. Then all the details of the physicians orders, moving, unpacking and settling in - fall to the residents and the family. I was surprised there isn't a social worker or some kind of mental care therapist to help with the adjustment. My folks are similar to most residents - leaving behind a home they lived in for decades, transitioning to a smaller place that could very well be their last home in this world. Somewhat depressed, angry, relieved. Ball of emotions that aren't always dealt with very graciously. Huge adjustment from remembering where things are, to closing up all the loose ends at the old home. The activities director position was vacant when they moved in, so at first there weren't even social activities to get to know other residents. There seems to be a lot of kitchen and help staff turnover but we are fairly new so maybe this is typical to the industry. Most of my comments are about the process of the transition, rather than specific to Sunrise. My dad honestly flipped a coin to pick. We looked at neighborhood, location, access to highway and light shopping needs. Ask the hard questions. Don't be appeased by - "oh the current residents will get to know your folks just fine, they always do" Ask about specific activities, exercises, therapies and involvement. I didn't like how they quoted me the lowest possible price (for a one person studio) to get me to schedule a tour, and then when we were interested, they brought out the price book for the large one bedroom layout we were interested in. It was much higher. Each home has a dog that lives at the complex. This was unsettling to my family who are not pet people. The dog just runs around and barks and goes on and off the elevator. Some things they just don't tell you on the phone. You have to visit to get the experience.

Vintage has become our second family with their exceptional, attentive and sincerely caring staff.

My mother-in-law was in an assisted living facility when her dementia worsened and we had to move her to a memory care facility quickly. We visited many facilities. Some smelled, some were depressing environments, and some were beautiful but staff lacked warmth. When we visited Atria in Carrollton we were met with warm caring management and staff from the top down, many of whom have worked at the facility for 5, 10 and 15 + years. We moved my mother-in-law to Atria's memory care January 21st. Sadly when we moved her, we did not know my mother-in-law was losing her eight year battle with ovarian cancer and she passed away March 18th. We are greatly comforted by the fact that we know she was in a loving and caring home for the past couple of months. We came to know the caregivers, on staff RN, activity director and management well. During the hospice time period my mother-in-law was in a coma for five full days and the caregivers and staff accommodated all our needs while we stayed round the clock. If you've been through the final stages of hospice you know what a horrendous and exhausting journey it is. The Atria staff cried with us, brought us food and tried to help us as much as possible. They even came to the funeral and reception. They became part of our family. We love them all so much we plan to continue to visit and spend time with those in the memory wing who have no family. This is an exceptionally caring facility and I wouldn't hesitate to move a loved one here.

They are really good. They could use more parking. The food here is better than the last place she was. We haven't had to use the call bell yet so we can't really judge response time yet. The dining staff and the housekeeping staff do a good job.

Beautiful place. Great program with some co-grouping (memory care and assisted together). Smaller memory unit within larger community. Very family friendly. In Woodbridge. Private room and bath. On high end. Outings.

They've done a great job here, we're very pleased with the service. The employees are all very kind, and you just get the overall sense that your loved one is really being looked after. The activities director has been wonderful, as well. They really go out of their way to make sure everyone gets involved in all the things they have going on.

What really stands out to me about this place is how friendly, cordial, and caring the employees are. You get the feeling that they genuinely enjoy helping people, and that this isn't just a job for them. They're always there, ready to help, and they'll get right on anything you ask them for! The only complaints my loved one has had is that she isn't quite used to having someone check in on her so often, which as I told her is actually a good thing! The food is also absolutely delicious, I've eaten there many times myself and it's been impressive every time. I'd strongly recommend looking into this place, I'd move here myself if I could afford it!
