We moved our mom to Atria in the Pacific Palisades almost three years ago. We moved right during the pandemic and they couldn’t have been more caring or sensitive to what our loved ones were going through during this difficult time of lockdown! Now the facility as opened up and it’s an even more wonderful place to be! [name removed], the activities director, is amazing! She puts so much care and attention to the activities and there is always so much going on - from outings to live music to exercise and game playing. They even have theme days that are super fun! All the staff is wonderful too. I feel like my mom is in a great place and we are so happy she made the move to Atria Pacific Palisades!

When I visited this community everyone was so friendly and warm. It's a great size so it really has a family feel. You can tell the residents and staff have a great relationship. Moving our loved one into senior living was very stressful but the staff made it so smooth. They supported us through the entire process. They are located right in the heart of the Palisades so we are able to take our loved one into the village for lunch. We couldn't have picked a better place for our mother.

Our Aunt has called Atria Park of Pacific Palisades her home now for 1 ½ years. This has been a safe and happy place for her, making her feel very comfortable and cared for. She likes knowing that there is the caring staff right there if she needs them while having her own private apartment when she likes to be on her own. We feel so secure knowing that she is safe and has a staff that truly cares about her. She is on the Life Guidance floor which is the Memory Care floor. While she has short-term memory loss due to dementia, our Aunt is very aware of her surroundings and all that goes on in her world. She only has the nicest things to say about all of the staff. She tells us that each one of them is "her favorite"! The staff really does care about the residents. They find out what is important to each person and celebrates that with them. Beautiful community!

I recently toured Atria Park of Vintage Hills and had a great experience. It looks like a very wonderful place, but unfortunately they do not have any vacancy at this time in memory care.

Atria on Roslyn Harbor is a beautiful place. It's well kept, and the grounds are beautiful. The interior rooms are beautiful. The food seems to be good, both from my experience trying it and from what I've heard from others. My loved one really liked the activities. She did find them to be a little repetitive though, so they could use some more variety. But all in all, I think it's a great place if you can afford it.

I toured this community and it was very nice, but very large. Not ideal for a resident with mobility needs, ie: a walker like our loved one has. I feel like she would have been very overwhelmed in this facility. I would recommend it for more active lifestyles/residents.

Nice place but too large. Halls are so long people have to get walkers or rest in between . My room is one quarter mile from front door. Some further. Value to cost. Other places I looked at were cheaper for same thing I get here. But convenient to my family was the thing.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great tour experience we really liked what we saw, but unfortunately it was just a little to far away from us.

This facility is wonderful! The staff is so friendly and the care is superior. Their emergency care is top notch and immediate. . My mom had an emergency (no fault of the facility) and the staff acted quickly and immediately to get first responders there. They also made sure to get my dad (who also lives there) to the hospital quickly to be with my mom, which was amazing to me. The meals are overall great, but my parents are vegetarian so their personal options are a little more limited. But they make it work and have no complaints. They also make it a point to celebrate birthdays. My dad had a birthday recently and they had cake and balloons and had a little party for him, which was very nice. They have plenty of games and activities for the residents to participate in. The facility is very clean. Cost seems a little expensive, but I don't really have anything to compare it to. I would definitely recommend them!

Great programs, my aunt is very happy to live here. She has made many friends, food is really good. What I love is that compared to her previous community where they had staff going in and out Atria has staff with 10+, 20+ years! I love being able to see the same people every-time I visit! Everyone us very friendly and there’s always something to do! If you’re looking for a great place for your loved one. Atria, Carrollton is the place!

I was working with my younger brother to find a place. We went through quite a process and we did use A Place for Mom. We came up with about 3 to 4 places; we visited all of them and we got a perspective for each place. Bottom line is, we ended up at a place where we should have started. My brother has gone through some health issues and he did not realize he had a diagnosis in his medical record of dementia. So we went through this process and we spent months going through it. We were down there for almost 3 days in the Bay Area looking at these places. We payed his admission for Atria and I had purchased furniture for his apartment. I had it all delivered and the place was essentially ready for him to move in; but then we had trouble trying to get his medical records. The day before he was supposed to move in, his medical team in San Francisco sent his record to Atria. They immediately saw that in the past he had a dementia diagnosis. They called him and myself immediately and said that their policy would not allow them to accept anyone with a (past or present) dementia diagnosis. It was a shock to him, not the policy, but the fact that he had that diagnosis in his medical record. From there, we had to call all of the places to get the furniture removed, returned etc.. They did give me a little bit of a refund after their restocking fees. He's since gone back to his previous place, which wasn't a bad place, but he wanted to go to a community that had a lot more to offer. As far as atria; we met with them and I talked to them several times before we went to visit, I had a sense of the community - as best you can get over the phone. When we met with them they were extremely hospitable, they were really nice to us and they were looking forward to having him come, but it just didn't work out that way. I have nothing but good things to say about Atria. The guy I worked with was exceptional and through all of this we communicated and he went out of his way to be helpful to my brother. He even drove him up to San Francisco to try and get his medical records, which was way beyond his call of duty. From my experience with them, they get high marks. We toured the facility and were able to speak with some of the staff. It's the kind of place that I wouldn't mind living myself. They had a beautiful setting, overlooking the valley and so on. The accommodations were great, not just in terms of the apartments, but the community as well. The overall layout was really really nice too. It just would have been helpful if they emphasized in the beginning the importance of having his medical record. We could have requested his medical record in advance and avoided this whole ordeal.

It was a wonderful place and everyone treated [name removed] great. She was in hospice most of the time she was there, but it was super. They really took care of her well and they provided all of the care she needed; I would highly recommend this place!

I am to report that I actually landed in an Atria community in Temecula of vintage hills, and I just love it ! I am thoroughly enjoying the warm wonderful staff team, the welcoming and accepting resident body and the beautiful and serene environment and amenities, here at Atria Park … I am truly living my best life, here in this amazingly inclusive community!

Our experience with the Atria @ Glen Cove was first class from start to finish. [name removed], executive director, is a kind and caring person. She listened to my family's needs at a time when the situation was very stressful. She connected us with the Atria's Community Sales Director, [name removed]. With care and concern, [name removed] provided us with the guidance we needed to make the best possible decisions for our relatives. During our tour, [name removed] went above and beyond to make our experience most enjoyable and comfortable. We even had a sit down chat and lunch with some of the community's resident ambassadors. Everyone was wonderful. Shortly after our tour, we met with [name removed], Resident Relations Director, who was also great. She helped facilitate the necessary steps taken to secure my relative's health and well being in the Atria's community. The Atria @ Glen Cove is beautiful, clean and most friendly. I highly recommend the Atria @ Glen Cove.

Excellent place to live/retire. In complete safety and comfort!

The most important thing here to me is just how welcoming, wonderful and friendly the staff and other residents have been. I do think the meals and dining service is really good and there are always a ton of different activities going on during the week. I have already recommended this community to other families and will absolutely continue to do so

I have lived here for just over 3 months. I love it, but when my daughter first talked about it, I said no. I am so glad, she insisted. I have a life now. I am never alone. I have friends and do fun things everyday. I realize now that, before I came here I was sad and lonely.

Atria San Juan is such a special community. The staff are amazing and truly care for the residents like family. The community is fully committed to a social environment, where people are together.

I am always listening and learning from others around me here at Atria. I enjoy going to our daily morning exercise classes, although I do take days off to sleep in I skip the morning class and go to the afternoon class. I am very happy to have friends around me here at Atria.
